IMOTLTD STAFF VISIT TO AN ORPHANAGE HOME

IMOTLTD STAFF VISIT TO AN ORPHANAGE HOME

On October 22, 2018, the staff and directors of IMOTLTD visited Mother Theresa Orphanage Home in Gwarimpa, FCT-Abuja. The group was warmly received by the orphanage’s proprietress, Mrs. Catherine Emeagwali, her team, and the children, who were the heart of the visit.

Prayers were offered for the orphanage’s continued well-being, its proprietress, and staff. In her welcome address, Mrs. Emeagwali expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Your generous donations will greatly support the children’s care.”

The orphanage received various gifts, including a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, room divider, Xbox One, stabilizer, UPS, Scrabble, chess board, baby soap, baby oil, SMA baby food, cornflakes, and Pampers. Two exceptional staff members, Ene Oche and Abigail Alkali, were honored with cheques and plaques for their dedication and community service. Ene Oche, overjoyed upon receiving the “Esther O Community Service Award” and a N65,000 cheque, shared, “It feels wonderful to serve in any way we can.”

The visit included a lively interactive session with the children, who shared their stories while enjoying Domino’s pizza. A child’s heartfelt thanks to IMOTLTD’s staff and directors capped the day, making it a truly memorable and impactful visit. As Abigail Alkali noted, “A child’s prayer is answered even before it’s spoken.”
