Career Day

With the Senior Students of Babcecil High School

On October 26, 2018, IMOTLTD, a division of NEOTERIC Group specializing in capacity building and development for organizations, SMEs, and institutions across public and private sectors, conducted a community service program at Babcecil High School, New Karu. This initiative focused on fostering social and behavioral change to drive societal progress.

Mr. Oliver Onoja, the principal of Babcecil High School, warmly welcomed NEOTERIC Group’s senior management for the school’s inaugural Career Day lecture. He emphasized education’s critical role as the foundation of any developing society and highlighted the transformative impact of such programs on students.

NEOTERIC Group’s team delivered engaging lectures on “The Power of the Mind,” “Choosing and Building a Career,” and “Understanding Temperaments and Their Influence on Behavior.” These talks provided students with valuable insights into career paths in fields like medicine, engineering, architecture, and accounting, equipping them for informed decision-making.

The principal and staff expressed immense gratitude for the timely initiative and were further moved by NEOTERIC Group’s donation of a N200,000 cheque to support the school’s Career Guidance and Counseling Unit. The event proved to be a pivotal, life-shaping experience for the students in attendance.

Mr. Emmanuel Egue (IMOTLTD’s General Manager) spoke on the topic “Power of the Mind”.
